Troupe might be more commonly know to most as promoters who put on boss parties in London and Bristol, bringing together artists like Gerd, Ejeca, Dusky, Citizen and Green Velvet to audiences gagging to throw some shapes, correct?
Well the same clan have taken the plunge and started their own self titled label to add further merit to the Troupe brand. This first release is a no nonsense dancefloor slammer whose drums pounds along from beginning to end. Whilst attempting to compete with vibes from labels like the mighty ‘Aus Music’, this remains a little more on the linear tech house path. Worth checking out and a positive start for Troupe Records.
