This Friday is all about house music from the 90´s way back when i first began to collect records, i think the way the scenes genres have evolved and changed over the years has pretty much come full circle.

Digging through the crates is always a lot of fun and brings back so many memories, you can really see where people get their inspiration from when producing modern day music, recreating certain vibes and grooves.

The tracks i have selected consist of originals, remixes and reworks that all define my early interests, so enough talking, here they are.

To start with the Armand Van Helden (when in his prime) remix of CJ Bollands – Sugar Is Sweeter. Basslines dont get any chunkier than this!

DJ Sneak´s sampling skills hard at work on Teddy Pendergrass´s ´You can´t hide from yourself´ except this one has got much bigger balls, and a better name ´You can´t hide from your bud´.

ndlogoThis timeless classic re released on the mighty Manifesto records and once again, sampled from an original disco track of the 70´s, comes courtesy of Todd Terry. A monster record that has a handful of delightfull remixes on it. My pick of the bunch being Tee´s In House Remix.

Next up a track which i am sure you all agree has touched the hearts and decks of millions across the world. A true classic that will never ever die. Almost tribal house layered with soulful vocals, it just all makes sense. De´lacy – Hideaway.

And finally a euphoric summer time hit that has all the right bits and pieces for near enough perfection. Words can´t really describe this track well enough, so here it is, Last Rhythm´s – Last Rhythm.
