Wanted to catch up on this LP from Anthony Naples which dropped late last year, it is ticking a lot of boxes for me. The sound of an artist trying something different and exploring what’s possible most notably in that this initially came out on Cassette. The sound is perfectly suited to that format which sees Anthony working through plenty of sonic territory between intangible analogue tone-scapes, imaginary spacescapes, otherworldly trip hop and of course a light touch of more familiar stuff.
It’s good to see an artist working through areas outside the beaten path, whilst still keeping you riveted and giving you some of his finest work to date.
