Tim Van de Meutter AKA Locked Groove has only been putting out stuff since only 2011, but has made a solid impression of his work on labels like Hotflush, Turbo and of course We Play House. This latest offering really bridges the gap between house and techno, full of fluid musical melodies and warm thuddy beats. The A-Side is nothing short of an ‘Anthem’ with a lovely build to main event at around 3 mins.
On the B-Side Tim lays down a meaty acid groove, but is surprisingly uplifted with great use of atmospheric pads and whistling tones. These are no surprises as to why this is called the ‘Sunrise Mix’. Get your hands on this from JUNO
