No Dough Music

Well what a month it´s been, we have had the start of summer big style, the end of summer big style....haha oh and it´s sunny again right now....hurray!!!

This week apart from enjoying a few days in the glorious sun, there's been a lot going on, oil leaks, earthquakes but more importantly....BANK HOLIDAY WEEEEEKEND!!!

Got me thinking back to some straight up classic bank hol weekends I've had in my past, and so the general theme of this will be thoroughly in the classic music, stuff so wrinkly and well lived it gets cards off the queen and nits you lovely jumpers at Christmas. (that never fit)

Jump forward a few years to the time of the french revolution, King Crydamoure was invading everyone's record box's and in 2002 this little gem dropped. Le Knight Clubs "Nymphae Song" is a energetic affair consisting of looped up warmth and a wonderful hummed vocal....who needs words anyway?

Shuffling the pack up again this week another 80's classic has been on heavy rotation on my ghettoblaster! its pop, I mean not as we have nowadays, plastic focus group tested creamed cheese....no nothing like that. This is real pop....Genesis - Invisible touch oh yes...

This next one is bending the rules a little, but I had to include it as one of the stand out tracks from the new Electric Jones Re-Rubs, which for me have been hit and miss but this one is pure vibe. "Mold On"

To finish off my roundup for this week, is a track I found on another blog (Bicep), and cant thank the guy enough that I did, its one of those songs you find that you play over and over and it just gets better. There´s more music and feeling in this 12 minute slice of heaven than there is in the whole top40!! FACT - The Simpson version of Dinosaur "Kiss Me Again"....enjoy this one...so many twists and turns...
