Their collaborations under "Alive & r.a.w." and "Broken & r.a.w.", have made a big impact on the underground scene, with support from by many top Djs.Their first project created the tracks “QA7” and “QA8”. Both tracks demonstrate their versatility and fusion of styles. These were soon signed by Monu-mental Digital. Support for these tracks included Luke Dzierzek, Misstress Da Funk and Marco V, with QA7 being played on Eddie Halliwell's Radio1 show 3 times.
They continued to evolve their sound and next came the dark percussive track "Overture". This was released on No Dough on the Movements EP and was charted by Luke Dzierzek. Overture shows a contrast to previous work and the constant progression of their sound. They are both working on new material and experimenting with sounds to push musical boundaries.
This is not only their continuing collaborations, but also solo material and remixes, soon to be released on No Dough and Mad Hatter recordings.As a DJ r.a.w. has 5 years experience, throughout the Northwest at various venues. It started when he won a local DJ competition. Since then he has been regularly playing at nights in Manchester, Sheffield, Stoke and Northwich. He has the ability to play a crowd and build a set of fresh sounds, which has pushed him forward as a DJ. He takes inspiration from a variety of Djs and genres, which is reflected in both his productions and DJ sets.
