ND Podcast 023 – Anthony Cepeda

Our Podcast’s back with an hour´s mix of house and techno.  The man we have up next is a man who knows it’s important to have a thorough understanding of the music you play and a strong dedication to nightlife in general.  Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Anthony Cepeda made his move to Spain years ago, and since worked at making his mark on a somewhat difficult music scene. Mainland Spain has always been slightly different to the UK, and knowing they like things a little harder the djs often have a more vigorous approach in the clubs. So whilst trying to express fresh sounds and styles to the public, it can be easy to slip into the trap of playing common ground sets through fear of losing peoples interest. Anthony however, always sticks to his roots when it comes to selecting a playlist for a dj set or live set, this is why we asked Anthony to share a bit of his story with you, full of soulful gems and some tight nit techno house.
