G Markus has been making a few waves in the past couple of years, with hits on Roots for Bloom, Soul Clap, Exploited, Monologues amongst a few other edits labels the man has really hit a nice sound.
Following on in 2017 from his big tribal monster M’Bala – G Markus has had a strong showing and his track featured on the Melodymathics all star VA is one of his best yet.
Oktogon is a great example of flipping a sample into something fresh. Dreamy tones and textures work along side rhythmic cuts and an inventive arrangement to create something quite special.
The whole Melodymathic EP is stand out aswell, featuring amazing work from Sue Avenu, Carmine Giuliano. Lu York and of course Melodymann. Out on vinyl this friday…DO NOT SLEEP.
