Justin Stride delivers some seriously slick deep vibes under his Black Sonix Alias on the newly formed Yell Recordings. The opening track called ‘Sounds good to me’ carries an addictive groove throughout with some classic house stabs. Don’t be put off by the overly used word ‘stabs’, because Justin pulls this one off using some nice arrangements, a warm bass groove and off kick flecks to keep the head nodding. Very cool track.
Flip side is equally well produced, similar sounds used offering a less chuggier vibe but goes deeper still. I’m a fan! Struggling to find a link for a wax copy on this one, so post it in the comments if you find one.
