This LP is a glorious mixture of Techno texture and drive with the warmth any rhythmic musicality you would associated with House. It’s a heady mix that epitomises a sound that has been super strong in 2015 and I for one love it. The analoguey production is super solid and the craft on show is inspiring to hear. From start to finish this LP is no compromises, varied and full on – having followed Basic Soul unit for a while now it’s good to see them pull off an album that is not only a good use of the format, but also really representative of their sound.
Don’t miss this record if you are into the tougher and more inventive side of things.
