Frequent visitors to our music blog will recognize that we are quite fond of house music comprised of warm dubby kicks drums, crispy hats and low slung grooves nested nicely around a meaningful musical arrangement of some sort. Breaker Breaker Records from London delivers just that, with the Alex Brown EP by Ross From Friends.

I’m not gonna deny the fact that the only Ross From Friends I’ve heard of is… Ross from Friends, but I will say that his productions are fresh and showing good signs of a consistent producer. My favorite on the EP is Golf School, a wicked jazz tinged house vibe that we’d expect from the likes of Glenn Astro & Max Graef. Available on a limited Edition vinyl early next month on Breaker Breaker. GET YOUR JUNO NOTIFICATION HERE
