Compared to our regular blog output, today’s choice is on a more techno driven tip. The Air London imprint returns this July with its thirteenth release, coming courtesy of rising DJ and producer Rachel Lyn who offers up the ‘Flower Parts’ EP, backed with a remix from Kris Wadsworth.

After an EP on Monika Kruses’ Terminal M Records late last year, Rachel has gone from strength to strength with her DJing and production skills, showing no signs of slowing down. This Flower Parts EP is fueled with abstract and airy tones, punchy subs and crisp percussion, crossing the boundaries of techno and minimal in effortless style. Kris Wadsworth mangles things even further with his remix of Citrine. Anyone familiar with Kris will know how well he can flip a tune on its head and deliver something in total contrast to the original.

For me ‘ Power Charge’ is the one, but you can make your own mind up. Vinyl from Juno
