Albeit a digital only release, it’s bloody fantastic to see Duriez (Brique Rouge) back in action alongside Manual-M on Classic Records. The Frenchman has been around for yonks and released on some of the most established labels in the business. It’a fair to say his discography is rather impressive.
Holding a more techier vibe compared to some of Classic’s other releases ‘9 Minutes Of Pure Madness’ hypnotizes you from head to toe. It rides n’ rolls, peaks n’ troughs from start to finish with subtle tinges of acid throughout, lovely stuff. It’s sister track on the other hand doesn’t hold back as much, Acid lead rips right through the heart of it pushing all percussion right to the fringes, heavy! All yours over at Traxsource
