Our friends over at camp Soul Notes open the year with a blinding record from Efenkei. It’s the 4th in a series of much more aggressive and raw sounding house/techno under the SNX catalogue range and it kicks ass to say the least.
Opening with ‘Oblivion’, this will twist and bend your mind until your brain turns into soup and pours out of your ears. A2 seems under a bit more control and with a vocal that breaks things up nicely. The B side is taken up by the self titled track ‘Efenkei’, which is deep and atmospheric the whole way through with a jumpy deep groove to carry it along.
